At 7 kw 1 hour of charge will provide approximately 30miles of range.
At 22 kw 1 hour of charge will provide approximately 80 miles of range.
Charging speeds for electric cars are measured in kilowatts. Home charging points charge you car at 3.7kw or 7kw per hour. Most domestic properties have “single phase” power which means the maximum rate of charging is 7kw, commercial properties with three phase power supply can install faster (22kw) charging points.
